Before you order
Four points that cause the most trouble in practice.
What matters
- Choose the pressure switch by range. A pressure switch is rated for a switching range, for example 0.22 to 4 bar. The wrong range cuts out too early or not at all.
- The diaphragm is a wear part. Heat and pressure cycles age the diaphragm. If air output drops noticeably, that is usually the cause, not the motor.
- Replace filters regularly. A clogged filter element makes the compressor run hot. It is the most common avoidable failure.
- Never bypass the safety valve. The valve limits the pressure. Disabling it risks damage to the tank and the machine.

Which pressure switch fits my compressor?
What matters is the switching range in bar and the shape of the connection. Send us a photo of the old switch with its type designation and we will tell you what fits.
How do I know the diaphragm is worn?
The compressor runs but no longer builds pressure, or takes much longer. Often you hear a hiss. Check the filter first, it produces the same symptom.
What is the Koellmann Handy K2?
A compact air compressor built into many plastering machines, including our No.1. We supply its wear parts individually: diaphragm, cylinder head, valve plate, sealing rings, filters.
